I think this was a oneshot, or a chapter in a manga. A rich seme comes across a poor uke. They eat meals and spend time together and the seme grows affection for the uke, and says he's thinking of moving in with someone (and of course he means the uke, but the uke doesn't realize it). So the uke asks for a loan, and the seme grows cold because he thinks that everyone is always getting close to him for his money. Eventually the seme wants to break ties, and the uke returns the money, confessing that the money was just a way to bind them together, but it's sad that even that huge amount of money means nothing to the seme.

Sorry for being confusing. I'm not even trying to write a coherent summary haha.
