Hey boys and girls!

I have a problem: I'm sick of reading stories where it's clear from the start that the main couple will obviosly end up together and leave the poor third guy (whom I usually sympathize most with) licking his wounds when he never had a real chance to begin with!

So yeah, I'm looking for yaoi (or it can be shounen-ai) mangas with a love triangle that you can't figure out right away. And it'll be even better if it's the underdog who snatches the guy for himself in the end! offers virtual chocolate chip cookies to anyone who can suggest one like this

The only manga like this that I ever read was Fruits Basket and I've never come across works like this in the BL genre. Help, please! w

The only one I can think of is Mukizu ja Irarenee - You kind of find out close to the end but it isn't obvious right away.

Thanks for the suggestions, especially Kusatta Kyoushi no Houteishiki and Deki no Ii Kiss, Warui Kiss. I've enjoyed works by both mangakas and to have more than one vol. to read is a treat! A huge thanks! 😁

I would say the first story in Illumination (ch1-3) has an unique love triangle.
