Looking for yaoi/shounen-ai doujinshi from ANY fandom, that is multi-chapter or even multi-volume... Basically, it should feel like reading a proper manga in terms of its length. It should NOT be just a one-shot! There should be narrative build-up from one chapter to another and it should reach a fitting conclusion.

Like One Piece dj - The Pirate Ship Noah, which has a FABULOUS story and is long enough to constitute its own series! It's 5 "volumes" long (but more like 5 long chapters), and it's great... It's the ideal yaoi doujinshi since it's got enough of a storyline to stand alone as its own proper manga... I mean it could be published as an actual yaoi manga if it wasn't based on an already-existent series.

A yaoi doujinshi like that, please... I normally don't read doujins so I am somewhat behind! ANY fandom is fine with me, I just want to get into yaoi doujins that are long enough to really get my teeth into. 😃

There's Fullmetal Alchemist dj - Hermaphrodite, which surprised me with how much I liked it. The scanlation job could be better, though.

Revaival is really well done, both the plot and characters are really well thought out. It really helps if you've watched the Sengoku Basara anime, read the manga or played the game, though, otherwise you might be a bit lost ^^;;

Edit: Is Revaival BL? Because it isn't listed as shounen-ai or yaoi, and I'd like to confirm if it isn't one before I start reading. 🙂

Revaival has no explicit BL stuff yet but there are hints for now 8D I think it'll definitely steer in the homo direction though, since the author has done another shounen-ai doujin. 🙂

The Antique Bakery DJ series, starting from Antique Bakery dj - Kanari Hitodenashi and continuing for 12 more stories. Again, by the same mangaka as the original series.

I haven't figured out the order yet but WHO CARES, IT'S STILL SO CUTE. <333333

Gundam Wing dj - Fate of Gold, sadly discontinued at 6 chapters, but still really awesome...

Gundam Seed dj - Jail Academic Anarchism - possibly one of the BEST DOUJINS EVER, I'm serious... The art is of such super-high quality and the story is amazing... I want to have this doujin's babies! But alas, only half the chapters are scanlated... ;____;

Saiyuki dj - Claret Night - only a two-parter, but each part is long enough that combined together, they're practically a full volume length.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! dj - Limiter and its sequels, a 3-part series in all. Again by the immortal Yoneda Kou.

The "Deep Level" Phoenix Wright doujin-series by Otapyon (not listed on this site, but you can find them here).

Initial D dj - Night Owls - a little disjointed but still memorable.

Doujinshi series that I haven't yet read, so I don't know if they qualify (as in, whether they have continuing storylines):
