Yeah, that part confused me too.
Two swords is more unique than one. Only two other soul reapers have two swords, out of thousands.

Since it was mentioned that the heat evaporate an entire sea, i'm under the impression that the new Zangetsu is of the fire element?

Na it was just full of reiatsu and heat that when he took it out that the sea evaporated, in others words lame and makes 0 sense. Does no one else have a problem with how fucking bad those swords look? I am starting to question Kubos fashion sense, first with the previous bankai outfit.

No, I'm definitely with you on those swords. Both of them look off, and the main hand sword looks like pure ass. I was also very surprised that no-one mentioned this before you. I'm also very curious why his "complete" Zanpakutou would look that incomplete. For me, that became the main focus of this chapter. Ugly Zanpakutou: The chapter.

Is going to do. Im assuming he will also be able to steal a bankai. I'm curious how ichigo's fighting style will change now as he has always fought with one sword, I'm also curious whether twin swords will persist in his bankai form or become one sword again

Is one his shinigami/hollow powers, and one his quincy powers? I'm assuming they'll have some other abilities as well? However it looks like we need to wait to find out. I think they are dragging this out just a bit too much. Shounen Jump series can be slow, but this is just becoming completely stagnant.

They also don't seem to give any indication of whether he still has his Visored powers. Will he also still have the Blut Vene powers from his Quincy side as well? I would think with new Swords, new powers, new everything, he'd need to really work on his technique as well.

Aren't the swords/souls combining on p.14, making it one single sword.

Dunno could had combined or he just made them disappear.

I'd say it's probably his shikai. I doubt it would change from a full-time release, though it'll be more annoying to carry around now as two blades. My question is does he still need to awaken bankai, or does that carry over as well?

Ichigo is at the highest level of rapport with his inner powers, so I don't think he will have to awaken anything anymore. No idea whether he still has the ability to use the Final Getsuga, or whether he would want to.

Kyouraku and Ukitake are very unique, and previously I think they were the only dual wielding shinigami. I don't think it is a result of the same type of connection that Ichigo has.

Now, Ichigo has been to 3 of the Zero Divisions headquarters, and we know what those three did to join the royal guard. Question is, what are the other two? Are they going to meet the spirit king?
