How about we set up a FAQ(frequently asked questions) topic?
with info on how to use Colors, how to link to a Maximum7(scanlator), how to put images in their signature images, how to use the search forum right, and anything else anyone can come up with, for the newbies.
it might help with the problems people seem to be encountering lately, and would be useful for, as i said before, all the newbies that decide to stick around....
idk, i just thought it might be useful...since lets face it, not many people really read the rules, or go to the announcement section for info, so one big global topic might be useful..
whats everyone's thoughts on this?
😮
I like the idea...However. If newbies won't bother to read the rules, what makes you think they'll bother to read the FAQs?
Well, in any case, it's worth a try since if they don't know how to dl they'll probably go here so at least it might decrease a few of the problems.

very good idea 😀
when i first started, i didn't know what the hell to do(eg. didn't know how to link to a manga) and ended up searching round the forums for posts that could help me.

i thought that same thing, but more times than not, people don't really like reading rules since they see it as not doing anything for them, but with something that might help them, it is more likely to get more views.

This could actually be done by users themselves, but of course it'd have to be approved by mods. For example, there's nothing to stop anyone from creating a topic named "F.A.Q.s" is there? Of course it'd be up to the mods to sticky that topic or place links to it at obvious places.
I agree with Telenguard. ^_^ It IS called frequently asked questions for a reason, neh?
