i get the feeling once all the espada have been 'defeated' aizen is gonna reveal something big. i hope its not something cliche like 'it was all an illusion' or 'this was a decoy, my true army of vasto lordes are preparing to destroy the real karakura town'

I also don't believe Halibel/Barragan are done, that'd be lame.
But, wtf, first there was a rocket launcher, now guns. Meh, i don't like where it's going.

did anyone else feel a bit uncomfortable when stark and lili became one on page 15? it sort of makes sense that stark's release involves lili since their relationship is more of a brother sister rather than master and servant. also he is meant to represent lonliness so the wolf thing makes sense. his release form is cool but i hoping he would transform into kiba or tsume from wolf's rain

HM kinda reminds of the liz paty & death the kid scenario from soul eater.

Then he'd get all paranoid, thinking people are spying on him, go into a depression and Bleach will get canceled just like Zombie Powder.

But all jokes aside, I kinda doubt Hallibel and Barragan are done for with just this much. They've yet to show their good moves, IMO. There's always a final best attack before a villain bites the dust. At first I though that Stark would be like "if your Bankai are at this level you lose", but instead he must have been pretty impressed to go all out so soon...

I suppose he is pretty strong, but even so, Ulquiorra might have been the strongest. He beat Ichigo completely, before Ichigo went Super Sayajin 3 and pulverized Ulquiorra. But that power was out of Ichigo's and probably even out of Hollow Ichigo's control, since it didn't really talk much...

I guess what I am trying to say is that power level wise, the top 3 Espada are about right where they should be right now. Sort of give the captains a good run for their money but lose in the end. This probably won't last long though, and when they power up they might very well win this. Hallibel and Barragan probably aren't done yet.

I agree with the general consensus. I bet that Halibel and Barragan are still alive. Especially since Barragan makes everything evaporate within his touch, so why would a humongous rocket be different? Also, the concept of Soifon's Bankai is lame. It doesn't suit her, at all. The only thing that saves it, is that the "intensity" of the blast appears to be kind of extreme, which is cool. :'D One huge fallacy remains though... How the hell are the others not effected by the blast? It seemed pretty spread-out and powerful. o___o;

And I don't like how the fights always seem to "fit", like Halibel/Toshiro - water and ice, Stark/Shunsui - dual guns against dual blades... I'm assuming that Ukitake will join the fight too. You can even think farfetched, and think that Soifon has a connection with Barragan in the sense that she's supposed to be a sneaky assassin (which is basically a representation of death) and how it relates with Barragan's "death" form.

I call it! That after even Stark gets "beaten down", Aizen will appear and say, "I TROLL U!", suddenly the Espada all seem to be unscathed, and on top of it, a second release! Each Captain gets cut suddenly, in the way that only Kubo Tite knows how to draw. Then, the Vizards will appear, and voila~

I'm still wondering who will be Yamamoto's opponent (he's the strongest one out of them all), and Aizen seems too much of an I'll-let-someone-else-handle-it-for-me type to actually go and fight him. Then, there's also the insertion of the Royal Guard somehow along with the Spirit King.

I'm predicting that their reiatsu levels are on a completely different level. Who knows, Aizen might have some connection with the Royal family hence his desire to capture the throne and his immense strength.

Okay, I'll stop now... ._____.

Ice attacks don't kill anyone without a shattering effect.

Barragan is most likely alive, and so is Halibel... Kubo just DRAGS too much >_<

Then i think, Zangetsu is just a spirit of the Spirit King, and Ichigo, as the one who wields it, is the Spirit King himself.

Well, he definitely looks cool, but guns are kinda a little bit out of place although it depends on how he'll wield them... but Soi Fong's "rocket launcher" was soooo much worse... it's kinda even stupid.. i'd preferred to see smth more assassin-like than modern warfare-like((

and as some have here mentioned Halibel/Barragan can't be dead just yet.. they have to revive and kick some more ass)) 2nd release is most probable..

and plz, anything but Ichigo being the Spirit King.. that'd be like the worst possible outcome.. however if in like at least 200 more chapters he kicks the current Spirit King's ass and takes over the throne.. then it would be ok i guess.. )

Dual guns, honestly if I could ever have any kind of weapon in any game that would be it, so right now Stark to me is my favorite character in all of bleach. Though I agree that moving from swords and blades to rockets and guns is a little weird, like a slap in the face to anyone who can't shoot and has to fight in close range.
