why fan service is so hated ?

like in the topic i still dont understand why so many manga and anime fans hates fanservie i mean isnt it good to see in anime and mangas what we like 😕 so then why when i talk about fan service i hear things like "nah fan service is crap ".

i personally, enjoy fanservice, when it's something like the "turn off your cell phones" warning for the kara no kyoukai first chapter movie. shiki and mikiya go to a cafe counter and NEKO ARC <3 pops up outta no where and starts serving them stuff, and then mikiya starts texting, and shiki gets mad and cuts his cellphone, and then cuts mikiya.
fanservice is just something to make the fans happy
not just shitty panties flying around on the screen. dont worry, you wont see THAT kinda fanservice in more serious anime, if you watch it.
which is why i think seinen>>>>>>>>shounen.
but even though dbz is shounen, that doesnt even have as much panty flash fan service as ikkitousen.
nothing does.

An entirely fan service anime/manga with no plot makes the anime/manga blow when it comes to stories, but as posters/wallpapers, they are a + 😀 . Fan service to an amazing anime/manga is a bonus, not an essential requirement.

Most people hate "fanservice" because it's usually the only thing that attracts readers. Most manga that feature panty shots and large breasts and the like don't care about plot or character development or anything interesting at all - it's all about capturing the attention of male readers. It's not that a manga that features such things will be crap, although it's pretty hard to write a decent plot and then include things like random panty shots.
...Well, and the fact that many readers (like myself) are straight females and therefore don't care how many times someone's skirt gets flipped and the results. Just have a good story, that's all.

i dont think rosario + vampire have too much fan service the story is goot still after few chapters (episodes) so i dont agree in that point if you did only watch 1st r+v anime and didnt read the manga then do so.
and it doesnt mean that if some manga or anime have tons of boobs and pantie flashes its bad it depends how someone do it.
i personally like fan service and the only factor that makes animes and mangas unberable b of fs is that someone messed it up when making it
check the classic love hina theres plenty of fanservice (and i mean plenty) and almost all ppl that did watch it liked it (i personally did talk with only 2 dudes that didnt like it and their explanation why was so lame that i will leave it without comment ....)

Well fan service in general isn't hated... since as it's name implies it's service for fans!
Yes... it's supposed to be pleasing the fans by doing so. The only problem is like mentioned before... sometimes the fan service just isn't made appropriately, and ruins the atmosphere of the manga.
Also manga that are solely based on fan service to attract readers are also mostly looked down upon because they have nothing except the fan service, no plot, no character development, no nothing (like OH! great's manga... yes I hate him so?).
