Did Moriyama-sensei just go mad or something? This is totally unacceptable.
I mean how can he turn a character that so many readers love, and is the reason why many people are still following the series, into a villain?
Thank you sensei, I had been so fond of you these years but you've just destroyed the last piece of goodwill I have on you.

It will be answered in chapter 71. But for forum rules I could not share it or even talk about where to find it. Sorry.

I think chapter 70 already gave a pretty good hint...

Not really, it was not explicitly said that he was their ally, Takao was always a villain from every other peoples viewpoint in that manga, his goals were always for himself not for the people and he probably joined with Ende because to retrieve Julie or something related to her, mutual alliance to get what they want. Cant see how u saw Takao as a hero or a good guy

No, I wasn't referring to him... How about the semi-naked girl in the middle?

i agree. the author totally f'd the story up. i had a feeling since around chapter 30 that this manga's plot was going downhill. this last development finally confirmed it for me. i'm disappointed cause it could've been really good, but now i'm finally giving up on it. i might check the last couple chapters whenever they come out just to see how it all ended but other than that i'm never touching this manga again.
i reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally hate when mangas start out good, get your hopes up, then butcher the storyline over and over again until you finally have to give up and tap out. 🤢

for the people that can't handle seeing innocent kids mind-corrupted
you're totaly detached of reality
on the contrary I see it as a sign of the maturity of this manga
this horror is what real parents live long to see.. their small adorable children turn into these cruel annoying and evil creatures called teenagers
the relationship between neene and and that irresponsible young adult is a metaphore of real irresponsible parents that can destroy their children future
yet there is the other side of coin where the parents are themselves victims of real life tides & storms
