I'm new here, but I'm guessing that we can suggest new categories/tags. (Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place.)

Anyway: there's a series I follow (Sekine's Love) where the main character seems to suffer from depersonalization disorder, and I wanted to add a tag for that, but there isn't one.

The closest tag already in the system would be "dissociative identity disorder," but it's not quite the same thing.

However, I haven't seen many other series where a character has DPD, so it might not justify adding a tag for. Should I suggest the addition of the tag "depersonalization disorder," or just "depersonalization" (which is more common)? Or does the topic not justify a tag at all?

Thoughts?

Oh, well if you feel that a series warrants a specific or certain tag, you're more than free to add it.
I think the only case in which you wouldn't be allowed to attach a tag is if it's deemed inappropriate.
I'm sure there has to be one or two more series out there where a person depersonalizes, though that's a term I'd never heard of before. And I think depersonalization (which isn't a word according to my spell check) would sum up the term just fine. Truth is, dissociation is so very similar, I don't see why that wouldn't fit.
Bah, but don't take my word for it.

Depersonalization it's a word, a person with DPD feels like he is watching himself act from afar (like in 3person view) and lose contact with reality, making them feel they are dreaming or in a game as they live.

dissociative identity disorder (DID), is a way of saying MPD (multiple personality disorder), so they are nothing alike.
