Not really, cause the Hougyoku saved him other times where he should have died, so it was kinda obvious that it would save him this time.

So it seems that Aizen's gonna be sealed away until later in the story when he breaks out by himself or through someone else (You know it's gonna happen, don't try to debate against the standard shounen laws 😛 ).

I really like how Kubo did an asspull right here to stop Aizen from revealing his shikai/bankai and rightfully killing Ichigo. Same thing with the "kido inside another kido" thing with Urahara. 🙄

I can't believe Ichigo's new ultimate attack did nothing to Aizen...
All that effort into designing a new look for Ichigo for a pathetically useless attack.
And Urahara is almost as full of shit as Aizen. Pulling moves out of his ass.

So can anyone tell me whether Aizen got stronger or was weakened by Ichigo's attack?
He fused with his sword like Ichigo, so if anything he should've gotten too strong for Urahara's bullshit to work. Urahara's explanation makes no sense.

I think he was weakened by Ichigo's attack and that's why Urahara's seal was activated. Because he (Aizen) wasn't porwerful enough anymore to have the hyougo... (can't write the name right) recognize him as his master...

I got this from elsewhere, but

So then maybe it won't go through another training arc..and did I miss something, or what, cus I wouldn't nessesarily say that Ichigo's final getsuga tenshou was a training arc per se, since we didn't really get to see his training, which i'm glad....
