Well, I stayed upto 2:37am waiting for the chapter to come out translated and it finally did. Well, I certainly didn't expect the "sacrifice oneself to ressurect others" path from Obito and certainly did not expect Black Zetsu to come out of fckn nowhere, right?!
Anyway, anyone finding dissapointing the "everyone gonna live" possibility with the Rinne Tensei No Jutsu? I mean, war gotta have them casualties, rite?!
Madara ressurected, everyone low on chakra, bijuus coming to help Naruto, Obito dead (?), Naruto manga coming to an end in a few chapters, doesn't it seems like that?

Thoughts...

I think Madara stopped Obito before he could revive anyone.
It was nice to see Sai again, now if only we can see what's going on with Yamato.

I don't know about everyone else, but I really didn't find it all that terrible to revive people like that. It's not like the whole world gets revived or something. Would it have been better with Nagato if only some people got revived? -I just can't seem to care that people didn't die :/ and yes, I understand how reviving everyone can take the seriousness out of everything-

I already knew Obito wouldn't succeed in reviving everyone, so I guess I kinda assumed that Madara would manage to revive himself. It just doesn't make any sense to me. Madara was invincible as he was. What is the point of coming back to life when you can be killed again??

Is this a prank? I remember at the end of chapter 655 it said the manga was on hiatus till Jan 2014.

It looks like mangastream pulled off another fast one.

If you would re read the previous chapter it says hiatus begins with the NEXT issue. Here is also mangastream explaining how it works http://readms.com/r/area_d/62/2161/20.
On the chapter, it was extremely cheesy with the sacrifice thingie and all, but what I do not get is how "Madara" got revived. Because if we look back at Edo Tensei, it requires the body of a person to work so basically it is just Madaras soul while the body is not his. So how can Madara be resurrected with that techinique? It is essentially not his body so it does not really make sense he is revived.

If I remember correctly, Kabuto's edo tensei didn't require a mass load of bodies did it? Some of them did, but I thought the point of him surpassing Orochimaru on this front was that he didn't need all the bodies to accomplish what he did. How many times has Madara been damaged and we see that nothing is inside but whatever paper or something he's made of?

Every edo tensei damages like that, no edo tensei has been damaged and shown a body, they always break down like paper, Kabuto even showed Obito how edo tensei worked with a live body and a dead one. He always claimed superior because of how many he could control and effectively use was how I understood it. If I recall right Orochimaru's edo tensei was like that and it was not until the edo tensei unraveled that the bodies appeared.

Agreed. Naruto's been jumping so many sharks that I've lost count...

I like how there was a made up excuse for tobi not dying from the extraction of the creatures, followed by him using ressurrection jutsu and... just coughing. keep the cheese flowing!

I still enjoy Naruto...even with all the cheese and Madara going super saiyan 4 (non-canon)
But then I read Naruto every week after I read Bleach...that could be the reason for my lenient views 😃

It makes sense why Obito didn't die, dark Kurama explained it. As we already know, the original sage didn't die from extracting the bijuu from himself. The same applies to Obito, severely weakened, but not dead.

Eh, I'm kind of iffy on the Edo Tensei. I feel like Madara has always been himself with no one inside, unless Yamato is in there -sadly- I remember the demonstration he gave to Tobi, but I thought the point of that was how Orochimaru normally did it. To demonstrate Kabuto's upgraded technique, Orochimaru just used Zetsu bodies to revive the kages. I guess Zetsu can be considered "someone", but not really.
