I'm looking for adventure mangas in the vein of animes
like "the mysterious cities of gold" that concentrate more on the aspect of adventures and mysteries than on fighting.
I want characters that travel the world, explore caves, ruins and dungeons, solve riddles.

1. no shoujo (so no zelda)
2. abundant use of backgrounds (like tegami bachi or the first volumes of +anima)
3. clear artwork prefered (more serious than cartoonish)
4. children as main characters
5. no excessive fighting like in naruto, 666 satan, dragon quest an the likes

anthropomorphic characters are ok

Does something like this exist?
