I'm in search of 2 mangas.

The first one, I can only remember a few things. There is a guy and a girl together. The guy goes away for a sports competition, I think. The girl is pregnant but doesn't tell the guy. She gets sick, maybe a miscarriage, and the guy finds out and goes back to her. Thats all I can remember. I think it was a series, but it could have been a one-shot.

The other manga started with a guy fighting monsters. Then it went to a flashback on how he got there. He was taken with a bunch of other people to an island. They were all forced to fight and kill others. I can't really remember much more.

Any help is appreciated.

The second one might be Battle Royale as Swan said, there aren't any monsters, but the class is taken to an island to fight each other...

The first one isn't D-ash. I thought so as well, but i re-read it and it isn't the same. And none of those are the second one.

I think the second one might have been a manwha. If i can remember any more details I'll add them.

I want to say Berserk for the second one, but I don't think that is it. There is something in a flashback that resembles an island, but it isn't actually one. >.> Well, he does fight monsters and crap.

Battle Royale wouldn't be it, imo, since there are no monsters, but they could be human monsters... maybe?

I know the second one isnt battle royale. In the first chapter the guy is sent to fight these monster-type things. I think he might have had special powers. After a few chapters, it tells about his past. I remember there were a group of people on an island i think, not school kids, who had to kill each other and survive through military like operations.

Two sounds kinda like Island. It's been a really long time since I read it though.

Nope none of those were right. I finally found the second manga though. It is Zombie Hunter.

The first one reminds me of the Date flashback arc in Hajime no Ippo.

I'm thinking Suzuka for the first one too...
