My friend likes to check out Bing images of various genres of mangas to see if they interest her. She came across this bara that borders on sadomachism. I tend to like yaoi that is limited on graphic explicit sex and sans violence. Although I am a fan of Dear Benjamin, which had both to some extent.

Anyhow, my pal has a slight interest and wondered if anyone read it. The two main characters are Evan Macmillan aka "The Trapper" and Mike Myers aka " Shape". Regarding the S& M aspect, in one scene in Bing, the seme Evan stabs Mike in the hand when he tries to defend himself from being raped! Sadly he is un successful. But as expected, both indulge in a second round of consensual sex. Both characters are creepy looking, but I assume Mike got the name " Shape " due to his sexy physique. Hence the title we assume someone will be murdered. The subtitle of the manga is trapper-in-mike. Believe me, he gets in Mike big time,if you know what I mean! Evan also dons a scary mask. Well if anyone has read it, please give your opinion.

I'm giggling because Dead by Daylight (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_by_Daylight) is a game and what you're seeing is a doujinshi. 😅 It's based on horror movie killers as well as some OCs they made (for instance, Mike Myers is from the Halloween film franchise while Evan MacMillan is original to their game, I think). That's why it's so gory!

Specifically, I'm pretty sure the images you saw were from the doujin Dead by Daylight dj - Saigo no Hitori ni Natta Obuse Jake ga Memento Sareru Hanashi. 😅 I think it's ok, I can stand gore and messed up stuff in my yaoi but for me there are hotter Dead by Daylight dj to me like Dead by Daylight dj - Gishiki ni Yobaretara Killer to Futarikiri datta, no gore but it's f*ck-or-die & has more of the things I like in a smutty yaoi one shot.

Thanks for the info. I do not read baras that much. The "have sex with me or die plot "is new to me. But it marches Evan's mentality. The wording is fuzzy in the images, but I think Evan was Mike's first male lover. Believe it or not, I have never seen any of the Halloween movies, but have heard about them for years. I think Mike was wearing a mask too. I guess Evan " trapped "Mike with wild lust! No the manga is a different one. I will send the image link. I will check out the one you mentioned.

I love doujins for this exact reason! Who would have thought there would be bara featuring the killer from Halloween? Lol! No worries about the image link, the one I linked has a similar scene though where . It's so intense re-reading it. Maybe it's the nice day that's making it very "omg lol" vs scary, haha. Not sure if it's allowed to say, but both of those doujins have been scanlated so there is a clearer version on the net where ever the group has decided to host them.

As a whole, I really enjoy coming across bara. They always have a different flavor than the yaoi/shounen-ai written by women for other women. Lol.

I think bara are primarily written by men who, are either gay or bi. Perhaps some are hetero with a creative imagination. Who knows. True, you never think of classic horror personalities in this kind of medium.

What happened to Evan, why is his body so scarred? Plus what is the stabbing in the hand suppose to represent? Although he is only a manga character, I felt bad for Mike, he is in double hell, brutally suffering from being stabbed, and being violently raped at the same time. Double whammy, but it's yaoi for ya!

I'm not sure, I haven't played the game, but they're both supposed to be notorious killers - so he's gotten into a few struggles in the past, I am sure (lol).

That is yaoi for ya, haha. At least in this case, they're both bad guys...technically!
