When yur sitting at the computer at night reading manga, watching anime and you look away for an instant and see a shadow move
or when you are about to go to sleep and see a shadowy figure in the corner
(like it could be someone that creeps you out from a scary movie)

who do you think it is? and where is he/she often?

i think its the guy from the Strangers movie with the potatoes sack over his head

No, its definitely the phantom insects moving up the walls.
Or possible the burglar waiting for you to fall asleep and raid your home.
Or even death waiting to take you out.

I think it's my lack of sleep conjuring scary things so I won't sleep peacefully

One of my cats, usually. 😃

Or a trick of the light. Or the shadow of a tree (trees around the house, streetlights along the street).

My good twin.
Or a huge bear.
Or in the worst case scenario,
my mother.

I wouldn't mind my good twin
or a bear seeing what I am reading,
but I'd get a stroke if my mother would.
A sister was enough to give one.

Reading this made me laugh so hard because it reminded me of something.
Something that involves 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' on audio track, and a friend on too much caffeine.
Since I don't want to try explaining that one, I'll just say:

My eyes are playing tricks on me. Probably.

we have really huge and weird curtains...
so...if i see menacing things it could be only just the curtains...
but this fact still isnt proven wrong ...

haha bking made me laugh

yeh well actually i see what everyone means when they say they think its there eyes playing tricks on me.
its cool. this is for the public so as long as its on topic, its fun to read the responses.

however what i was trying to swing this topic in the direction was something like a certain bad person from a movie you just saw or just a movie where the guy creeps you out. like Micheal Myers or Chucky ya know?

Heh, I always know it's my eyes playing tricks on me, but....I always imagine that there's some crazy guy hiding in the shadows of my closet, waiting to kill me and my family. 🤢

🤣 🤣
There's nothing at all that would cast a moving shadow other than myself(in my room). But, even though I know that, I think it's some murderer that's been hiding in my closet and just came out. I pretend they're not there.
