I read all the chapters scanlated by Phoenix Serenade Scans, then started lurking through the internet and stumbled on another manga clearly based on the very same story:

It must be another manga because scenes and art differ from what I read. But I don't speak Japanese... Can anyone explain what is this? Who's the artist and so on?

I've checked it and there is indeed another manga adaptation of the same novel (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (Novel)).

It's called 薬屋のひとりごと猫猫の後宮謎解き手帳, or "Kusuriya no Hitorigoto - Maomao no Koukyuu Nazotoki Techou" in English. Artist is KURATA Minoji.

I've already submitted it to the database, so now we only need to wait some time till it gets approved.
