So, hi. I only joined recently and this is my first post on here, but I've been using both this website and the anime counterpart for a good while now. To keep track of all the series I'm following I've been using the RSS feeds so far; although I'd have liked an e-mail system a quick search around the forums points out that that's not going to happen. The hacky solutions using Yahoo's pipes also weren't entirely to my liking - I'd rather have something a little more refined and made for the purpose. Hence, I made do with the RSS feeds. Over the last couple of months I've been getting caught up in other things so much that I keep forgetting to check the feeds for new series, and in the end I decided that I'd just put together an e-mail system of my own. This started as a project for myself, but it was little trouble to make it accessible for others and because I know other people have been asking for this I decided to share it with the community.

You can find this system, which I affectionately titled BakaMailer, at [url]http://baka.portal42.net[/url]. The system does not require your BU account details (you don't even need to have an account at all). You can create an account with your e-mail address and a password, which you then need to activate with an activation e-mail sent to your address. After that you can log in and start adding subscriptions. There's some instructions on the website which I think explain most of it, but since I put this all together in just a couple of hours it might not be as clear as it should be.
