Nah nah nah!! Nothing like that! I didn't mean to sound like Uncle Rico with the way things could have been. I was just pointing out that I was too nerdy to realize what I had going. I could have used more self-esteem so that I might have had a little more fun. I care too much about others to be a player, but it woulda been nice to have a sweet fly hunnie to chil with in my comic book/Manga library!

Hmm, I agree if you mean "jackassy" as in sort of guys that are jocks but not jerks to the core. But it's not like girls don't stick with a guy that's treats her pretty lousy. (I'm sure when Smallville had the Whitney and Lana and Clark triangle, there was even more reason for people to wish for Lana and Clark to be together since Whitney was being a selfish jerk.) Perhaps the idiot is just fun to be around (she might have no intention of a real relationship with him, and none beyond highschool). But confidence is attractive since a girl might like a guy to take the lead, unless the girl really likes "owning" her boyfriend.

I think a person that chooses to go the negative way of being a jerk in order to get the girl, is that girl really worth being with if she likes that type of guy? And that means that guy is a fake if he's changed into someone he knows he's not (he sold and betrayed his values). So I think a guy might not want to look himself in the mirror if he doesn't have pride in (just being) himself.
