Rockin' heaven by Sakai Mayu... yeah, it's a typical shoujo.
Well, when I first started reading it, I could tell that there wouldn't be any major twists. I'm used to reading Arina-sensei's and Matsuri Hino's works, and you could always expect the unexpected. Sakai Mayu is a pretty good author actually. Does anyone have things they would like to share? 😁

Let me talk about this manga a bit..

The cover - I actually thought she is a singer... if you look at her and read the name you would thought she is a superstar or a rockstar or something 😲

And, I'm not sure why it's so popular that so many groups are working on it.. Because it's a shoujo that all the shoujo lovers love?.. because of the arts..?.. because of bishies? xD <- okay i give this one total point, the guy is HOT... But anyway it's just the same old shoujo like all the others.. I don't expect much when i see the cover and the summary..

And I even thought this work was by Arina T., I think the artist should draw the girl in the manga and in the cover the same -.-""" But overall the manga is not something surprising 😐 ...

Yeah, you're pretty much right. I didn't think she was a singer. But, in the first cover the one with Sawa holding the gun and was Ran holding lipstick? 😕

yeah I found it to be typical shoujo too, but I really like Akira. her story's actually a lot more interesting. I would've preferred the manga to be about her.

read alessia-chan's spoilers that is a pretty big twist (the first one, not the second one).

I found this series to be cute. ^_^ where I'm at, I suspect the next events shall be:

love rivals and/or other obstacles that our main couple will face since they're already together. This way, it'll continue the typical shoujo storyline ^^"

I thought so too. But it's sorta cute, though.

It's too cute to pass up in my opinion. It is typical, but who doesn't like one of those once and a while? xD, and all the bishies just make it more irresistable! lol, i sound like a perv.

Uhm, I think it's popular for the covers, you can see the art is cute and stuff...and it's like more modern! :/
and when do you see a guy pierced in his lip? x3

For me, this is a typical Shoujo. It has a character who stands up for herself and others, you know typical heroine. A lot of boys fall for her, she gets jelous of some ex girlfriend... Its all too typical.. The main guy character is cool, handsome, whatever. Um, to be honest with you, I'm more interested in Akira, She's purty much the only reason I actually read this manga. No offense to anyone. Akira just seems to be an out of the ordinary character for me. I'm tired of reading mangas about strong, fierce girls who stick out because they know how to stand for themselves and are, you know, kind of loud-ish. I'm glad to finally read about a character who is calm, collected and quiet. thats just my opinnion though.

It's pretty good. The main character is unrealistic in some ways, yet also shockingly real in other ways. But I still find myself more interested in Akira and Tsubaki <3

I haven't READ chapter 24 yet, but I don't think Tsubaki is actually gay...I went onto Wikipedia and read that Akira falls in love with Tsubaki, though Tsubaki doesn't realize he loves her until the end. Taguchi also falls in love with Akira, but she rejects his feelings.
