well he never used the technique before and he's pretty much near death already so that might factor into how successful his technique was. My guess is that if he did it correctly then the other guy would have been dead with the first hit. So it might have been partial technique so his state of mind was not as severely affected.

My prediction was always that Shi Woon would be the guy who finally learned to do the technique the right way, without going kill crazy. That was Goo Moon Ryong's master's hope for him, but he couldn't do it. Since Shioon is such a nice "let's not kill people" kind of guy, plus the hero of the story, I always figured he would do it without losing his mind. I thought it would be the climax of the story, though. This part feels more like a subplot.

I'd say its more of he just can't use it properly. Could be the shattered ki center put up a block on his natural max ki output and kept it from going completely out of control(if so we see a possibility that goo moon ryong[sp?] Wasn't just being an ahole when he destroyed it.)

quite the opposite in fact, they have finally start speeding things up, until the crazy doctor bit it was really good stuff but slow in giving him his Ki back, but now things have picked up and I can see some big changes coming. I hated the whole bit about how he got kidnapped and the crazy eyes bald doctor, but its still one of the best mangas out there.
