How about being able to keep the poll open even if the thread gets locked....
cause with quite a few threads it would be usefull...
actully, the only thread i would want it for is the fav mod one, so the newer people could still vote for their fav....

i know, a stupid idea, but it'd been in my head for a while, and i got tired of not asking.

Some of the polls are useless after they serve some purpose, so they don't have to stay open.

It was closed because of spam ( more because of cheering for our fav mods ).

i agree with you Indreju, some polls are useless after, but there are some, like the mod one, that should be able to keep the poll without the posting, that way it cuts back on spam for it, and keeps the poll going at the same time.

i also think that it should be by default they close the poll if the thread is locked, and that would mean the poll could be appealed(sp?) and based on what the mods choose, be re-opened as just a poll with out posting, thus again, no spam, and still allows the users here to get to know the demographic of what people think about it.
