Forget, but never forgive.

I believe in "an eye for an eye". Like yesterday, a friend of mine slipped a coin dipped in ink down my back. It got on my school shirt (which doesn't bother me as I've only got three weeks left in school), my neck and back, and my favourite jacket I happened to be wearing. It smeared on the cuff of a sleeve, and one of my front pockets, and the stains can't be removed.
I kicked the shit out of the guy. But that's not enough. I'm planning on ruining something of his pretty soon...

I always forgive. I haven't had much experience with fighting/betrayal of any kind, but so far it's been impossible for me to hold a grudge.

As for forgetting, I don't. Unless it's been a really long time. Then it's kind of impossible not to.

Rarely forgive, but I never forget.

If they got on your bad side once, then what's to stop them from doing it again? You always have to keep your eyes open around those people if you forgive them.

Sometimes....
I'm the type to hold a grudge. >__>
But then other times I'm just too tired and just forgive the person even though I really don't want to just to make it easier.

I forgive only if I hear a genuine apology.

Other times, I either forget or get even 🤣

Depends...>.>
If you royally screw up don't seek my forgiveness.
But I usually do forgive, I guess.

I never forget!-

What is this "forgive" that you speak of?

Kidding. I'll forgive after a couple of years. I'd never forgive them but I feel like I have to be the bigger person, and I'd feel like a horrible person if I never forgave. They should be glad it's only a couple of years anyway.

Never forget though.

Damn I sound bitter. 🤣

I forgive but I mostly don't forget, especially when the offense is really really bad and hurtful.

argh. i guess it would depend on the size of the mistake/problem committed, and then on the person and whether or not i see he/she often. i mean, if you see a lot of that person, you tend to forgive and forget (more forget than forgive, though), while if you see them only after some time again, the first thing you'll probably remember is the problem you had with them.

No, not at all, but I pretend to. Noone really cares for it anyway as long as they are not inconvenienced by it.

Quote from tsuto

Well, I was just being curious about other people's view on forgiveness.

In my case, I don't really forgive, since I think it involves (in the christian sense) to make it be as if nothing really happened. I mean, I won't hate the person, but I will be wary of that person. As well, I think that there are certain things that I won't ever forgive if somebody were to do that to me or to another person.

You should have added one that said: As long as I remember you, you will never be forgiven

I remember a few School mates that still own me a few pesos (like DOLLAR CENTS)

But I don't think the "I will never forget" should be a poll option, I mean what happens If I land in a coma and lose most/all my memories? those people would be forgiven/forgotten in no time.
