My old name used to get stolen a lot, so I switched to this one a while back and I can't even remember why, but I use it for everything now.

I have gone to a few sites and found it already taken when I try to register, in which case I use a variation/abbreviation of this one. It kind of sucks though because I use this one so many places that it's hard to remember the few where I use something else... 😔

Sometimes when I don't use a site for a long period of time I tend to forget which nick it has...~

Odds are someone you see on the internet randomly with the same screen name didn't plagiarize your name, but picked the the same one by coincidence

For my nick, well I didn't start out with this nick on the internet. I just have it sometimes for the newer sites, and I don't have it for ones such as Deviant Art. I do change to sometime else, like I could use one of my older nick versions.

And by "identity thief", I really thought NightSwan was talking about something serious such as people that steal people's real identities and rack up huge debts under the person's name and ruin the person's credit. There isn't anything equal in the severity of the two different cases of "identity theft". 😐

But we all know how wrong real identity theft is, so there's nothing much to talk about~
So I thought maybe there are people who don't like getting their nick clawed by random people online. 🙂
