Hey there, i suppose that everyone here knows why kissxsis could be cancelled, if not, its about the new fkng law that the fkng of Ishihara released last year, and now its taking effect, the law its about banning almost everything beggining with panty shots to every ecchi thing you can think of, the first example to this fkng law its Aki-Sora Manga, it has been cancelled because of the law, you can get the details here about aki.sora being banned and also about this "LAW"

My thoughts:

right now im in fear that the series that im reading are in danger of being banned because of a stupid law thought by Ishiraha... how can ishihara be the governor of japan if he was a rapis novelist? and even more, he said that the earthquake was divine retribution because of japan bad actions, if i had the Money and contacts i would go and snipe Ishihara personally.

ISNT THERE ANYTHING WE CAN DO? IF I WAS A HACKER I WOULD TRY TO FIND REALLY DIRTY STUFF ABOUT ISHIHARA AND THREAT HIM TO REMOVE THE LAW AND THEN FK HIM UP REVELING EVERYTHING... something like he is a drug seller or something

it's not just this one it's almost anything ecchi hell they might go for one of your favorites say like one of the top 3 Bleach/Naruto/1piece as far as I know there has been a few scenes here and there that were borderline nudity and if this law is that powerful, it could easily cancel a series that's had one fanservice page in 45volumes etc...

Don't source with sankaku. It's like trying to use Fox news to confirm the existence of a nuclear reactor called "SHIBUYAEGGMAN." There's a factual basis somewhere down there, but the stuff is so sensationalized that it's often just as wrong as calling a nightclub a nuclear reactor.

There's a factual point in that article: a series was not reprinted (this part is noteworthy, btw), ostensibly for containing incestuous content.

Everything else in there is basically hyperbole, which is normal Sankaku stuff.

As I've been saying for months, they'll hit up a few not-so-popular-but-well-known series with the law to show it's not just a token deal, and then its reinforcement will be too much of a hassle and everything will be dropped. Given the methodolgy outlined, there really isn't much of a cause for concern.

That said, it could also be that the publisher tried to drop a well-known title as a measure of good faith to stem off further intervention, which would be a rather unfortunate decision, but also something that makes sense.

As for incest in Japanese literature- yeah, it's been around for ever. Heck, it's in the Genji, symbolically at least. A literary theme isn't being sealed off, though. Unless you call a single borderline pornographic manga the entirety of literature in every possible medium.

btw, foreign hackers planting false information about Ishihara somewhere would probably validate his racism (he is the guy who wanted to lock up foreigners in the event of a Tokyo earthquake, although that obviously did not happen. We just left on our own -_-; 😉 .

Well... i dont think this is that much of a hassle... kissxsis is one of those series they can end it with a single chapter and the end be good enough for it... theres nothing running deep... nor do they need much plot to give a satisfactory end.

Very valid point, but one of the major "dilemmas" they face is society's view of their relationship. They are supposed to be siblings, and even refer to each other as such. Granted, not incest by definition, but close enough.
Of course they haven't shown any sex because then what would there be to look forward to? It's probably the main selling point. Siblings crossing the bounds of a normal brother-sister relationship into the realms of forbidden love! I've heard that story before.
I'm also somewhat surprised at all the support for this manga and those types of relationships. Whatever floats their boat, I suppose. 😐
