I've never tried any extensions. What is the name of the one you are describing and where can I get it?

What is the name of the app? Does it work with firefox?
I don't use apps, but I have a program, comicrack that's really useful, for reading the manga I download... 😛

I don't, because I find this site to be perfectly useful. It frequently tells me about a new chapter before the chapter is on any of the reading sites that I use.

If the plugin works on Chrome on Android then I will try it. Right now I use an Android app named Manga Watcher, which does a fair job of keeping track of when new chappies come out and lets me download those chappies to my pad to read when I am offline (I only have wi-fi, not a data plan). It could be a little better, as it only flags manga with new chappies since my last download, so it doesn't tell me which ones I have downloaded but not read yet.

Do you know off the top of your head if the plugin will work on Chrome on Android? Sigh. Yet another gizmo to test. There comes a point in my life where testing and maintaining the gizmos becomes a job, rather than a convenience.

I use allmangasreader too and it really shines for marathon reads of 100+chapters. Plus, the search function is great for looking for those hard-to-find scanlations. Definitely recommend it.

And it will in time help japanese companies to see all those copyright violations

I don't use an extension, but on my Android tablet I use an app called Manga Watcher (not free). It downloads content for me to read offline and scans every few hours for new chappies.

Every so often it stops working for a site for a while, and then gets fixed. The site changed page format. Now that I'm typing this, I wonder if that's because the sites want you to read their content online so that you see all the lovely ads?
