I'm looking for some good stories about a "matchmaker". By this I mean someone who actively seeks to consult and advise someone struggling with love, and also if possible acts to help that someone succeed in pursuing his/her romantic interest. I particularly want that last part, a person or group taking some degree of action to help a person's love work out. Single romance stories are all right, but bonus if we're dealing with something a bit more episodic, with the individual(s) helping multiple people get together with their loves. And either way, I'd prefer something where the story is concluded and I don't have to worry about the matchmaker deciding that (s)he wants to become a rival instead.
