The only thing that I like about Minami Haruka's work is the art. I usually read her manga only by flipping/cliking through it 🤣
Although I said I like the art, but it still not my fave 'coz the seme usually is too cute and it's a no no for me 😔 🤣

I think her story plot usually more towards the light hearted with heavy sex scene and it is too cheeze for me 🤣 , but with her art style, I guess it won't be suitable for plot such as Shimizu Yuki's (Love Mode and Ze) or Youka Nitta's (Haru)

Well, I don't know if she's the best , but I definitly like her works.
Why? Because they are well drwan and really really sexy!^^
So what's not to like? 🤣
I wouldn't say she is my favorite, because most of her work is a little repetitive and mostly, it's just mindless sex.. but still, really likealbe mangaka 😀

OMG i love minami haruka's works the art is so cool and the guys are HOT!! well i like the plots to most of her stories. i've read so many of her works. but yeah she is a great mangaka

to me, haruka minami is one of those yaoi mangakas whose stories, plots or characters never leave a deep impression on me. the only one that i actually remember and quite enjoyed was saihate no kimi e to and even that had a couple of pointless sex scenes. It's not that i don't like her, it's just that her dull plots sometimes bore the hell out of me. it's like she's just drawing a story full of sex and adding a plot just for the heck of it (a pwp). also, most of the times, her sex talk and dialogues fatigue me the usual: "wow, i never knew you were this sensitive: just by me kissing you ur already..." "blush" ,etc and all that crap. the smex scenes are beautifully drawn but the plot is so boring and unoriginal that it makes them unhot. dont get me wrong here, i like haruka minami (her drawing style) and all but i was just noting some of the bad points in her plots which i'm pretty sure, quite a lot of you have already noticed. but one thing that i HAVE to appreciate about her is her art: it's absolutely beautiful. except for the fact that all she draws are stereotypical ukes and semes. seriously, everytime i read one of her mangas, i always get the feeling that her semes are horny sex-driven males who can't control their lust and her ukes are cute (VERY feminine) male crybabies who can't fight back nor manage on their own without getting raped by someone. o yea not to mention they're always the ones doing all the blushing and crap (well most of her stories consist of these stereotypical personalities). i have to admit the art is practically what makes her mangas enjoyable to read. lol its so rare these days to find yaoi mangas which reasonably good drawings and a PROPER plot. lol.
this post isn't intended to rant on haruka minamis works its just that i wanted to point out some crucial stuff that ruins her mangas. feel free anytime to contradict me or something. its just my opinion

o and btw random: who here agrees with me that yaoi mangas are more enjoyable when the seme and the uke are hard to predict? 🙂 (out of curiosity)/.

I think her art is very pretty, but - as mentioned before me - I can't distinguish one character from another very easily, it's often only a different shading used in the hair that makes the difference (and the character design is (almost) always the same in every story). And I can't remember a plot or even a scene from any of Minami Haruka's mangas, which I normally can if the manga leaves a decent impression on me.

So, I can see why she's popular, but she ain't my favorite mangaka. 😃

though most of her mangas are PWP... but the hotness makes up for EVERYTHING
and i really liked the vibrator tail in Love Rental

though sometimes the semes look like they could be better ukes...

I bow to Minami-sensei. her artwork is amazing^^ though i wished she could write more stories with a more serious plot like To you who are in my farthest limit and the university of love .idk. but it's still pretty awesome^^.

I remember reading Bitter (MINAMI Haruka) from her, and liking it. But I didn't enjoy the sequel, Sweet (MINAMI Haruka), because, I personally found it disgusting plot-wise, if it even has the right to call itself so.

Minami Haruka's work were on of the first few that I read. I used to be so addicted to her manga/ oneshots. But after a while it gets boring and there are other mangas with better plots and artwork.
