I have read most of Minami Haruka's works, but I can't say I'm a big fan of hers. The pictures are very pretty but the plotlines, and characters' appearances and personalities are not really suited to my taste. I prefer Ayano Yamane, Yamato Nase, Sadahiro Mika, Itsuki Kaname, Asou Kai, Miyamoto Kano, and Akira Honma. Minami Haruka would probably fall towards the middle of my 'most liked to least liked' list.

minami haruka was the mangaka that made me really love yaoi. i had read one maybe two yaoi before reading hers and thought that they were just okay. but when i read one of hers, it made me obsessed with her and the genre.

i'll be frank: i'm not a big fan of her artwork and i don't really care about her plots, i just love her sex scenes. i just really like her smut. every once in a while i'm in the mood for PWP, and she has stories that are great at that. i also like that in the majority of her works i've read, the uke is actually into the sex. her ukes usually say "yes, more!" instead of "no, stop!", which i love.

i had gone a while without reading her works because all i remembered about them was that all of her characters basically look the same (and weren't my type) and her plots weren't very memorable at all. but when i read her work again, i remembered that her sex scenes were my type, and that's one of the most important components in yaoi for me

I'd say her art has become even more beautiful over the years. Stories haven't changed too much.
