this chapter is just awesome. near the end of the chapter i was shouting edward! edward! all the time, so my neighbours think now that i´m a twilight fan. it´s really sad that the manga will end next month

i'm sure there must be some extra sequel books released for fans afterwards about them all living happily ever after, 😲 there's got to be right! ?!

I always liked Al, but what he did this last chapter just took him over the top. At first I thought he died protecting Mei (I thought his blood seal was broken because his armor cracked), but taking advantage of equivalent exchange later on was awesome. I'm with Dr. Love, some serious manly tears were pouring after I read that part.

Also, I'm honestly surprised how long these last few chapters have been. They're almost double of what a normal monthly issue typically is.

I read somewhere that the last chapter is 108 because it;s a very important symbol (perfect division or something--search wikipedia); and well, the guess s that the author want to make it perfect util the detail. So these chapters are (epicly!) published with more pages so it will ended up nicely. Some even say that the next chapter would be 150 pages long... That's awesome, really, if it's true.

Honestly I prefer these long chapters... they made really epic scenes, UNCUT and not DRAGGED like some other series..

lol agreed, i think a single fight scene in Bleach spans 8-9 chapters at times and it isn't really even worth reading anymore you just wana kno what's going to happen at the end, Naruto& Claymore which have a little more creative value aren't as bad most of the times, but still can drag a single fight out through a whole volume...

still can't get over how great this story is though, it doesn't start to lose origionality toward the end like so many other tales - definitely going to save up and buy some FMA volumes when they're all released
