this is just a poll for a project mostly for students for an application that selects groceries for students based on the nutritional value of the items and gives a list of recipes for the groceries it provides.

Sounds like a gimmicky waste of money to me, but then again I don't have an iPad or whatever so I'm biased...

In opinion that would be a waste of money. I would probably never let an app select my groceries. I always choose my food myself.

sounds like a site I signed up for (they had a free 1yr membership) that gives you recipes/meals based on your preferences, availability and sales at your preferred grocery store (major chains). You can see the nutritional values of each meal as well. Don't remember the website on top of my head. I'm not fond of the recipes and I cook, so i'm not in their target market, but if you've never cooked and grocery shopping is an alienated concept or you hit the campus fast food joint every day, then this could help.
Predictions for this poll:
Free >95%
0-5 < 5%
the rest 0%

You forgot the choice "Don't want t even if it's free"
For I can think for myself, something a student should also do.
And people who are to dumb to think for themselves are probably gonna go stuff themselves in the Mac anyway.
I don't really check any values.
I just eat whatever I feel like eating.
Thus I wouldn't pay.

I wouldn't get it unless it was free. There are a variety of websites and stuff that list the nutritional information for non-packaged food, and packaged food just lists it right there. I'm not lazy enough to pay for something I can do myself with hardly any effort to begin with. As for recipes using those items, again, there's a free website for that.
Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?
If I'm worried about my nutritional intake, I would sign up to those health programs instead of relying on an app. Those programs create a diet depending on your lifestyle, body type, and all that junk. Much better.
I wouldn't even bother getting that app.
(Voted for free though because there's no "not gonna get one' option)
"Shouldn't be alive but the condom broke."
I wouldn't pay for it either, I don't even see why it is needed. Just as someone said, there are many websites about nutrition facts.
The funny part about it is, even If I bought it I still would not use it, I normal have classes from 12pm-8pm so the last thing on my mine when I come home is to check an app that selects groceries for students based on the nutritional value of the items.

But if it makes you happy to win on the internet, have at it.
