I'm excited as hell about the manga coming back from hiatus, as well as them making an anime out of it, but...
the manga went on hiatus in volume 5 and is suppose return in march if an anime is released then i see it catching up to the manga ridiculously fast and either being cut short, or completely loaded with pointless fillers
Shmoke does have a point. Only 23 chapters have been released so far and they're already making an anime? The only things I can see happening in the anime is that they're either gonna have A LOT of filler, or they'll do like One Piece's anime and carefully stretch out a chapter for a full episode. Hopefully it's the latter.
I hope its like that to. I dont want them to turn it into another Naruto.
There's also the possibility they'll just do a 12 ep anime and stop at a certain point.
That would suck...
If they decide to keep it short, they might as well make them into OVA's.
when you think about it that does seem like the only available option at this point. no matter what they try it wouldn't really be a complete story with only 23 chapters ever done. if i had to guess though if they went with a 12 episode path, they would probably play only one arc to the story. then stop there until the authors decide to continue. and if they decide to release more frequent chapters.

i got the feeling it will be a 12 episode OVA, well i hope its an ova so they dont have to censored the gore and stuff or tone it down.
i want them to do it a bit like black lagoon, break the season it to 2 12 epiosde seasons, the first season take them up to the mall/shopping centre and then give it a break and let the manga restart and continue the story and then do the second 12ep season
but i doult they will do it that way...... money.......

Looks awesome.
Seems the ecchiness has been retained. At least, it gets credit for staying true to the manga, I suppose, although I prefer my anime without any ecchi... From what I can tell, the animation is good, or at least above-average, but you can never tell with promos if they're going to keep up the quality throughout the series.

Is it just me, or does it look like the boobs have been cut down about one cup size?
Not that I really care. Honest. I'm not that kind of guy.
Has there been any announcement as to the casting.
I don't know why but whenever Komuro opened his mouth in that promo I pictured Fukuyama Jun's (had to look that up, I'm not that big an otaku...... yet) voice.
Weird, I know, because I don't really think he would fit the part somehow.

Looks pretty good. I was gonna watch it anyway, but this makes me look forward to it even more.
One thing I won't be looking forward to is Takagi's voice. I bet that shit will make me hate her character even more than I already do.

So, first episode is out. Just watched.
Bit of an overkill on the whole panties there, though you could say that makes it true to the source material.
Animation looks pretty sweet, don't think I like Hirano's voice actor though. And just seeing it animated reminds me of why I dislike Rei so much, stupid twat.
I'll reserve final judgement untill I see episode 3 though. Which will have to wait, since i'm going to Indonesia for 5 weeks next sunday 😀

So far, im 100% like The Guy. Lets see how it develops both animation and fanservice-wise.

just watched the 1st episode also. So far im really liking it. The voice acting and animation is quite good. Rei manages to piss me off as much as her manga counterpart. Looks promising, for ppl who have already read the manga it's just another adaptation. Nothing really bad stands out, but il still wait for the manga when it resumes this july

The first episode was pretty good, but the ecchi man...
Ecchi
The charts
That's how much there is in the first episode. ESPECIALLY with that opening. 🤣

The ecchi was pretty much balanced in the pilot. I didn't feel like it was OTT...even for DAW.
Really loved it. Animation and art was good. Shots and camera angles were amazing for an anime and most of all...

FUCKING AWESOME! xD
Looking forward to following the show this anime season.
Too bad the groups that picked it up aren't exactly my favs though...

Don't know how the fan-service was 'overkill'. In comparison to the manga I'd say it was significantly less so. Considering anime production tends to blow up cup sizes/fan-service in any kind of ecchi (and often non-ecchi) show, I'm rather surprised. I'm pleased as well. The animation quality was excellent and the camera angles got rather creative during the zombie bashing. The pacing was well done and the voices weren't half-assed.
I didn't expect much when I heard they were turning HSotD into an anime, but I'm glad I took the time to watch the first episode. I plan to watch this series until it gives me reason otherwise.
On the other hand - Legendary Legend of Legendary Heroes (did I throw enough 'legend's in there?) disappointed me terribly. Is there some reason all fantasy series turn into complete farces that can't even take themselves seriously?

I concur! It tickled me too much hearing that!!
I'm so pleased with the anime thus far. It seems like the anime will progress really slow. Almost like a chapter per episode. But that doesn't bother me so much as I feel that they're really trying to add depth into the psychological aspect of having zombies straight up dominating the entire world. One of the reasons I liked the manga in the first place is because it's not mindless killing/violence and grotesque amounts of ecchi, there are more "realistic" characters and reactions to very disturbing events.
Is this anime going to come out weekly?
