I'm looking for people favourite opening pages, when the story first starts, whether it's because of it beauty or an awesome way to start a story, I'd like to know your favourites. Starting a story is hard as well as important, so I'd like to look at examples that you thought were different from the norm.

Ones that I think of are actually from two manga I never actually read but I thought looked pretty cool.
xxxholic: Beautiful, full colour, rather creative use of text boxes.
Wakusei no Samidare: That was pretty funny, especially when he looked outside and commented on the weather.

speech bubble next to innocent girl's face 😀 o you have someone you like?
voice over: lately i've become very popular
zoom out to guy and another girl
voice over: joking...it's not me, but him.
haha, i thought it was cute. Especially when most shoujo mangas say that but actually mean it.
