Sometimes affection is expressed directly, sometimes - vaguely; sometimes silently without the second party ever knowing about it.

Adding to that, main character has admitted female characters (best friend's sister, summoners daughter, red-hair) to be attractive (if that doesn't hint on being interested in them in the slightest, then I'm close to giving on you people).

Also, all the mentioned female character responded with affection of their own ( no matter how subtle it is).

you state a definition of harem seemingly trying to make a point that this should be classified harem but deny that right after? Sorry but haohao was right, you can't just use anything when it is convenient and abandon it when it's not. At least use this site's definition:

And from my experience how this is handled here: either a lot of females (and more often than not ONLY females), or obvious attraction (either obvious to the MC or to us) from multiple (at least 3) females.

and your definition from which you base your claim is already flawed from having generalized that a harem only consists of "members of the opposing sex." I've seen it with same genders.

Admitting physical attractiveness does not particularly have to do with romantic interest. MC's interactions with the girls are casual at most, even with subtle hints of romantic interest, and as someone has said before, it's too early to tell. Just because you're flirting doesn't mean you're serious. Don't jump the gun.

Personally, I don't think this series constitutes as a Harem yet because the MC spends about equal time around both male and female characters.

Who is saying that harem is any of those? No one has said anything about harem being anything like that and how on earth are we derailing the thread? As Couture said attractiveness is not the same as romantic interest. Imagine someone finding a celebrity attractive how does that equal as romantic interest? Yes being physically attracted to someone might lead to something but at the moment it is nothing close to romantic interest.

Explain how we are derailing the thread? We are giving arguments on why we think it is not a harem, at this moment you have yet to convince anyone that it is a harem and are the only on that thinks that it is, at the moment most believe it is not, but think that it MIGHT become a harem and again physical attraction is not the same as romantic interest. How is giving argument on why we think it is not a harem not related to this? You want to have a harem tag for this webtoon so you want people to stop removing it, but people are refusing due to it being not a harem at this present moment and giving examples why it is not.
