why Yaoi/Shounen-ai are created, mostly, by women?
I didn't get it since not only women are fascinating to this genre but homosexuals too.
Do you have ideas about it? 😕

Well, it's kind of the same reason why you don't see many lesbian porns directed by lesbians. They're made to satisfy men's tastes, as yaois are really made to satisfy women's tastes. And though gay men can enjoy them too, I've heard that many of them do not find them anywhere near realistic, as they're extremely flowery and over-exaggerated. I suppose even gay men are still men, and find that kind of stuff just too sickly sweet to handle.

They are created mostly by women AND for women. 😉
I think different readers will have different reasons. And there are many types of shounen-ai and yaoi stories. I am sure gay guys and even lesbians (I did hear about that) can enjoy some too. You just need to find the right ones for you.
Perhaps seeing hot guys in romantic situations together is eye candy to some women? But there can be other reasons, depending on the genre and story being read.
As to myself, I simply enjoy a good plot. Flowery and over-exaggerated ones are usually not my cup of tea though. I read shounen-ai and yaoi because they are available. 😀 I read other types of manga too.
Often I think yaoi and yuri is more about your non-sexual tastes than sexual ones XD
Some people who like guys don't consider watching or reading yaoi, because like others said it's too flowery or non-realistic. (and the same goes for yuri and those who like girls)
I'm into romance, but not the flowery kind, so I don't read much yaoi or yuri, but remain open to a good series.

I'm not too sure about yuri, but I know that yaoi is created for women. Gay men (most of them) don't actually read yaoi because it really is written for women. If one of the pair happened to be a woman, it would be considered a josei or shoujo manga.
I think that the sexuality of yaoi is created for women. Men, who are looking to read something sexual, aren't looking for the feelings (which are always there in yaoi) or the relationship. Mostly just the sex. If they want to see a relationship, it's a small facet of their favourite seinen/shounen manga. lol.
