Try some freakin thrash or groove metal, like Five Finger Death Punch, DOWN, Machine Head, Sepultura, or even The Sword.

ps. I do like Linkin Park, but they are more like rapcore/groove metal/ alternative than nu metal, so it's alright.

Dude, I like thrash metal and stuff, I just like Nu Metal more. And don't judge people by what kind of music they listen to. I just like how Nu Metal sounds, I can't help it.

i really like machine head and sepultura
tho i can never say sepultura outloud couse i cant figure out how to pronounce it

My favorite Linkin Park song is probably "One Step Closer"
(.. to the edge 'everything you say to me' takes me one step closer to the edge & I'm about to break').
I always liked "Forgotten" as well with the immediate 'start' 😀 ("From the top to the bottom...").
In overall their first album was their best in my opinion.
Other songs among my favorites are:
Three Doors Down - Kryptonite
Chad Kroeger - Hero
The Offspring - The kids aren't alright
Planet Funk - Chase the Sun
I Still didn't get tired of listening to "Durch den Monsun" by "Tokio Hotel". (The Preview is of the english version of the song: Tokio Hotel - Monsoon)

WTF??!!! what is with all the pop music? doesn't anyone broaden their horizons? (to all the people that listed stuff outside the mainstream, i commend thee.)

those are good songs, to many people where i'm at only listen to what the radio gives them, they're afraid to look for new music.
