Tactics games I play are: Everything in the Fire Emblem series I can put my hands on; Generation of Chaos; and Gladius.
For the record, somebody mentioned Command and Conquer, Warcraft, Civilization and Starcraft in this thread. Those are not tactics games. Those are Strategy and turn-based strategy games. But there's a difference. It's subtle, and it's beyond some people, I guess, but it exists. And that's why there are different names for the damned things.

So in that case, Fire Emblem and FF Tactics are the only tactic games I've played, besides Chess.
I hope they redo Fire Emblem Gaiden. Thats my favorite so far, its just that it not in English, so I have no idea what's going on in the story.

I recently played stella deus by Atlus for PS2
a really good tactics game.
One of my favourite is tactics ogre by square for psx
Mittsu no kokoro ga hitotsu ni nareba...

probably. depends on if you like tactics games or not. Since you already like anime, that shouldn't be a problem. Just a warning though, Fire Emblem has a very high difficulty level.

probably. depends on if you like tactics games or not. Since you already like anime, that shouldn't be a problem. Just a warning though, Fire Emblem has a very high difficulty level.
Actually its pretty much a fun game well if you like a storyteller like thing and i dont really consider it to be much of a difficult game, but sometimes gets a bit boring if you arent in the mood so i usually play it before i sleep so i can fall asleep and i have fire emblem and fire emblem sacred stones

I've been saying it for a long time and still think that the original Final Fantasy Tactics is way better then Tactics Advance, maybe because I played the original first, but still better in my mind.

OMG guys looks like everybody playing tactic games on consoles
PC users are rare these days i see
even i do have PS2 & PS3(i'm one of few people who have PS3 in my town 😃 ) tactic games on consoles didn't attract me
And what's funny - i DO want to play them but... i'm switchin' out when i play on console(hell if i know why it's happening, i just keep fallin' to sleep 🙂 )
But when it's PC i just lose my head! Gaming, gaming, gaming...
P.S. Recommend u to find "В тылу врага 2" (In West known as "Faces of War") Tactic + Action! Especially if play it on Lan or Net, it's a pure fun. Cool!
IMHO much better than Company of Heroes which was released at the same time, but had a much bigger budget

Age of Empires (all)
Dawn of War 40k (T_T yes i know)
Chess (been playin that since i was about 6 😀 )

about "Faces of War": it didn't named "Behind Enemy Lines 2" cause it's a registred trademark of some other game(first part pf "Commandos" had that name)

P.S. I made a mod for "Blitzkrieg 2"!! Wheee~! Crazy-ass fighting with your favorite music! (Right now i'm crushin' Nazi under Kursk while listening to Konata no Theme, Futsuu Version(Lucky Star) o_O) BTW it's triples unites on both sides. I mean there was one T-34 now it's three! 😀
