Hello, I had some suggestions for the series genre search. In the Series Info section, you can search by genres by clicking the link at the bottom, right? When you check more than one type of genre, the search tries to find a manga that includes all those genres.

For example, say you like mecha, psychological, sci-fi, and seinen types of manga, and so accordingly check those boxes in the search. But the search comes up with nothing because no manga falls into all of these genres.

So I thought that it was a good idea for the genre search to show results according to only one genre. So with the example above, the result would show all manga that have the genre mech, psychological, sci-fi, AND/OR seinen. The only problem I see with this, however, is that it might bring up too many genres. So if the filtering could be implemented one day, that would fix the problem.

I just think this will make the search by genre much more effective, which at least I would really appreciate.

This little bit can be interpreted in a few different ways...

One of the things I was planning already was to allow people to exclude genres from searching. You seem to want some kinda "And/Or" feature...

That is a great idea..

Oh, I don't mean a feature, I just thought it would be better if the search wasn't so inclusive. As in the example, if you like those 4 genres and search for it at the same time, you come up with no results (I actually tried it myself). What I mean by 'or' is that the search should have results so that it is like searching each genres seperately as well - the results would be all mangas that fall into one or more of those 4 genres, not only a manga that has all of those 4 genres. I hope that clear things up.

ahh... i see what you are saying now. so do the search the one way first, and then if it can't find anything, just search for series with any one of those genres?
