Could the mods have a look at the Global/Pinned threads in each forum to see if they should still be there.
It could be argued that the April Fools Warningglobal thread has passed its expiry date, unless the intention is to leave it there for next year.
But surely the Why things are slow at the moment thread started by Mannik in Sep 2007,
and updated by lambchopsil in Jun 2008 is now well out of date.
