Sometimes when I'm walking and I look at the side walk. I either have to step on the.. I don't know what it's called but you know how the sidewalks are basically rectangles and they're connected to each other but there's a bit of a line there? Well I have to either step on that the whole way or not step on it the whole way.

i have a habit of looking under my bed before i go to sleep. 😮
it all began after my mother told me this story: a friend of hers while sleeping heard strange noises under bed. she pinched her baby, making it cry out loud then told her husband that they should take the kid to the hospital. they locked the door and called the police. a theft was caught red-handed while trying to open the safe in the bedroom.
just as this habit was going to fade away, i saw Ju-on the Grudge, and recently, Paranormal Activities.
bed can never again be a place of comfort 😔
its cold down here fam ~

- I only eat the green M&Ms, I know they are all supposed to taste the same but I still find it repulsive to eat M&Ms which have a different colour
- I always open the door to my wardrobe and leave it open before going to sleep
- when I go shopping/eating/out I fold paper-boats out of the bills

I tend to pick at my ears a lot. It's a bad habit I haven't outgrown.

I have OCD so most of my habits are weird 🤣 Some of the more common ones though:
- Groups of things have to have equal numbers. If they are not equal then I have to make them equal, where this is possible of course.
- 1, 3, 7 and 9 are bad numbers. Things that end in one of those numbers must be corrected where possible. This is such a big deal to me that I have my mail sent to my next door neighbour instead of my own apartment. My phone number also has none of those numbers in it.
- When walking my steps must follow a specific rhythm. If it gets broken I need to start a new rhythm that is totally different from the one before it.
- Everything in my apartment has to be in some kind of order. Even if it looks random to somebody else.
- Symmetrical things are the best. If something has to be asymmetrical I will still try to make that as symmetrical as possible. The majority of my apartment is symmetrical.
- I clean my glasses obsessively, even if they are totally clean.
- I count. Everything.
😲 i'll go mad if you're my roommate
i'm your complete opposite; careless, live for today is my motto, i don't count, hardly put things back at their right place, very forgetful and 1,3,7,9 are my fav numbers.

🤣 I think I'd go mad too. I live alone though, and much prefer it that way (at least until I find that somebody special)

I am rather intrigued by the fact that you(Turbophoenix) did list an unequal number(7) of habits but I don't think I would find it annoying to live with someone who has OCD

And there are seven of them...

7 bullet points plus the beginning sentence = 8. Bullet points don't bother me so much anyway. If I was numbering the list then I probably would have left one thing out.
If there's more than one copy of a book I find in a store that I like, I inspect every single copy of that book before I actually decide to buy it. It there are many copies, I tend to spend at least five minutes on the inspection before I finally choose one.
I know I have more odd habits...

I can't stand little imperfections, like paintings that aren't leveled, the one scratch on your car, that one tiny little stain on your shirt that you can only see when you're looking for it, tables that are 5mm apart; things like that can drive me mad.
I tend to leave my clothes all over the floor, and my desk has so many papers on it you can hardly see the surface anymore; somehow, that doesn't bother me at all. But the little things, like the paintings and the tables, I just can't leave alone.

eating. my habits when eating are the wierdest. sometime i dont feel hungry, so i drink othing but milk and eat my vitamins for days. then sometimes i eat alot. and i mean ALOT. ramen, popcorn shrimp, yogurt, ice cream ( if we have any ), BBQ chips ( if we have any ), and other stuff. so my weight is always changing, along with my eating habits. plus i dont get hungry unless theres something i want to eat. which is really bad because i barely eat anything. i hate:
- meat - you might think im vegetarian, but i dont eat those either. i just hate meat. sometimes i eat it, depending on what food. and who makes it. and what i feel like. it doesnt matter how healthy, because theres barely any meat i will eat.
- veggies - they taste nasty.
- certain foods - things like spagetti, doughnuts, shrimp, and just some random stuff. and i am totally a buy -by -the -brand kind of person.
and i also do wierd stuff like not clip my toenails/ fingernails until they get stuck on things and i do them one by one. always the on that gets stuck. if another gets stuck. i clip that. never all together. also i do alot of SUPER WIERD stuff that none of you want to know about. and theyre not sexual.

yeah! im like that too! i dont care if my stuff is disorganized but the littlest things piss me off. like when youre in bed, and you see that book on the bookshelf that is off, or tipping, or is between two by the same author. just things that are just a little imperfect make me glare at it ( it mostly happens when im in bed so im too lazy to get up ) trying to make it move using the force. 😮

🤣
I'm often too lazy to get up too, but once I've noticed it I can't stop looking at it, and the more I look at it, the more it bothers me; to the point where I can't even sleep when I see something slightly off, until I can't take anymore and I get up anyway, fix the problem, and can finally go to sleep.
