I don't think I can in good conscience give this to any game but Tales of Symphonia.

Tales of Symphonia isn't a game that I played. It's a game that stole my life. All game saves included, my total playtime is somewhere between 400 and 500 hours.

I can't play it anymore though, because Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Vesperia have spoiled me with the free run skill.

Agreed. ToS stole mine, my best friend's, my brother's and two random fourth member's lives. Until TotA came out. Then ToV. ToS2 not so much cause they othe rplayables wouldn't level, and ToVS deserves a special mention. The way it's looking, Tales of Grace (ToG) will merit a new reunion, especially if we get the Vesperia costumes too. Rita FTW.

Though they're both RPGs, the styles are very different. FFXIII is more classical turn-based japanese RPG, Dragon Age is more western real-time. It really depends on your taste, but since you're asking this on a site about mangas and such, I would suggest FFXIII.

Or you can skip both of those and just play the greatest RPG ever made, Chrono Trigger 😀
