Ever play old style paper and dice RPG's? Rolemaster. It's fun roleplaying a botched roll.

I suppose the game that kept me playing for the longest was Morrowind, eventhough Final Fantasy X was quite close 😁

Could someone tell me what's the thing with Xenogears, I hear a lot of people praising it. But I remember playing it a few hours and I found pretty much every character annoying, and it was so predictable you could literally tell what's going to happen next. I almost fell asleep playing, also 3d environment with 2d characters is huge fail imho.

My favourite would propably be Suikoden II, followed by Chrono Trigger, FF-games and both Kotor games.

I'd have to say Kingdom Hearts II would be my favorite RPG game, since it was one that I thoroughly completed. Other notable favorites:
Pokemon (the ones for game boy and game boy color)
Golden Sun
FInal Fantasy Tactics Advanced
Fable: the lost chapters

That's probably the D&D rule system. If you're used to it, it works fine, but it's really better suited to full parties. And mages.
