I am a big fan of some of the older rpgs especially tactical rpgs: FFIV, V, and VI; Seiken Densetsu 3; Ogre Battle; Tactics Ogre; Dark Wizard; and Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifo and Thracia 776. My all time favorite, though, is definitely Der Langrisser, largely because of the broad possibilities in choosing the path of the story and characters.

that's true, it's been a while since i played it so i forgot, thanks ^^.
and yes you're right it was disappointingly short, and i felt as if they'd finished it off in a rush. but i loooved the whole summoning and battling thing. never had a game like that before.

Suikoden 1&2, Legend of Mana, DDS, Xenogears and Xenosaga, Odin Sphere, Disgaea 1&2... likely I forget some. I love rpg and collect soo many of them...
