Well, just wondering why are so many novels showing up with translations everyday, and there are several difficulties on the manga scanlation groups to find translators?

It's easier to translate a novel? Or the novels are all the rage nowadays?

Even if many novels are from China... there are not many mangas from there showing up with scanlations....

Sometimes mangaupdates looks like novelupdates... 🤣

People can make money translating novels. They get fans to sponsor chapters and then release more and more chapters each week if they pay for it ahead of time.

Unless you actually own one of these sites that host a large database of manga or said site pays you to translate a manga for them, you do it for free.

Not many people like translating manga for nothing other than mean jerkwads who keep pestering them about when the next chapter is coming out.

Many of these so called "translators" of novels actually use machine translations (like Google Translate) and just clean up the sentences that gets spit out. They may know a tiny bit of the original language, but not enough to actually translate on their own without the machine. It's easy to copy/paste from a web novel into Google Translate
