You know what's weird about me? (Okay, one weird thing about me?) I think bdsm and sadomasochism is great, but I don't particularly like smut. Are there any yaoi/shonen-ai series that use sadomasochism but don't have sex? It's fine if there is implied sex that isn't explicitly shown.

I don't mean a series where the uke is extremely submissive and the seme is extremely dominant. I mean there should be actual bondage and sadism. Loveless had hints of this sort of atmosphere, but I'd like it to be less subtle.

How are you with gore? Ichi the Killer comes to mind.

I've read that one. It's very good, but I'd prefer it if the uke was a masochist and both of them enjoyed it at least a little... that kind of sadism is just cruelty.
