I've noticed many of these spam bots are repeating the phrase YAHOO 1-800- [ Number ] a bunch, so I suggest maybe banning the word YAHOO, business numbers, and other common phrases from posts. After an account uses the banned phrase, the account should be muted on the site for X hours (unless they apply for an un-mute). If someone does need to use those two phrases, then the user can put in a request to unban their specific post with the banned phrases and unmute themselves. The request needs more than one type of human verification.

I too am naive as to how this site is built, but I feel like if this system were implemented, then it would maybe solve some issues.
