Mostly I don't remember my dreams, but when I do, they're almost always very odd.
The last one I remember was a few days ago. In the dream, I was checking on my brother's animals while he was out of town (which I will actually be doing towards the end of the month) and two of his cats had kittens (impossible since they're all spayed/neutered), one litter of about 8 all fluffy orange ones, and the other also about 8 fluffy tortoise-shell ones. I was watching the kittens as they ate, all gathered around their food dishes, when suddenly I realized that one of them had another face on the BACK of its head! 😲 The front face was eating, & the back face was just blinking & looking around...all I could think was, "hmmmm, I wonder if my brother knows about this?"

there are ways to remember dreams... like having a dream diary, and when u wake up write in it. eventually you should remember all your dreams, and have more wake-dreams.
Tried it once then gave up. It involved Freddy Krueger, a swarm of giant killer bees ( a foot long each), a vast corn field, Dracula's castle(?) on a steep hill and me armed to the teeth with shotguns, grenades etc...
I find that if I wake up abruptly I won't remember the dream unlike
if I woke up gradually.

It wasn't Dracula just a Dracula like castle on a steep hill which was sort of like a backdrop for my dream. I was hunting Freddy so it wasn't a nightmare it was another adventure dream. I don't get nightmares...well maybe I don't remember them.

I did but I think I was 5 years old at that time. I'll take another look at it. I only seen some of the more recent ones.

Sleep paralysis (not being able to move when you wake up/going to sleep) = evil spirit
PLAN A
evil spirit mocking you --> tell it to go away --> it is gone --> you = happy (after you poop yourself jk)
[if evil spirit does not leave]
PLAN B
evil spirit mocking you --> you say "leave me in Jesus name" over and over --> it WILL leave --> you = happy (after you poop yourself...might not actually poop yourself depends if you are really that scared)
Yes, I am crazy. >:-(

Don't be a wuss and poop your pants! Get angry and fight back!
I think it's because you don't get enough sleep. Around the time it was happening to me I had like 2 hours of sleep a day.

I think I read somewhere that sleep paralysis is a result of an irregular sleeping pattern, although I don't know what the definition of an "irregular sleeping pattern" is. >.<
I suppose suddenly changing from a normal 8 hour sleep to 2 hours counts don't you think? Your brain becomes messed up and you get all weird..........heheheheh......

Had a crazy dream last night kinda relating to my sleep paralysis post from before.
I was dreaming that I was in a military dorm and was walking with some military police who had a k-9 unit (police dog). Then the police let the dog attack a baby in a stroller! 😲 😲 . I was like holy crap! Cuz it look horrible in my dream to see the dog with it's head deep in the stroller and shaking the baby and people were screaming and it was disturbing enough to wake me up. At least I thought I was awake! Because I was laying in bed, and there was a big demon monster thing sitting in my easy chair in my room looking at me. I was having sleep paralysis, and then it started talking to me and I understood and was talking back to it. It was like it was asking me to make a choice about something and we talked for a long time weighing out the options and implications of the choice I make. Then I suddenly awoke and was really awake this time. Here's the messed up part: I can't remember what choice I made or what the conversation was even about. It was in another language in my dream and I can remember phonetically some of the things we were saying, but I can't figure out what any of it means. It was really disturbing to me this morning and I thought about it in the shower and on the way to work. Why did I know another language in my dream that I can't remember now?

that may be really accurate. i've switched from working overnight to day etc all year. i don't have a specific time i sleep either. night and day aren't really terms that apply to my sleeping habits anymore. and i have been experiencing sleep paralysis several times a month lately...sigh
on a side note. i have been seriously injured and killed in practically every dream i remember for the past week+ 🙁

Me too. I die in approx. 80% of my dreams. But I don't wake up right away, I sometimes sit in darkness for a while and wait for something. But nothing ever comes and I wake up eventually.
Let me ask yu this Varna....
When you have sleep paralysis, how often do you sense another presence (if at all)?
Have you ever tried talking to it?
Has it ever tried to talk to you?

um its like half the time for the presence. usually i think i see something other times its one of those "feelings" like when someone puts their hand in front of your eyes while its closed. i haven't tried speaking to anything i thought i saw though.
i have on the other hand tried to scream for help before. unfortunately that didn't work. 🙁
the times i don't sense anything i am usually too freaked out about not being able to move. it actually happened again just yesterday. i kept trying to move my feet until it finally worked. even though i realize what is going on, i have to admit that i usually panic. it's not a nice feeling. i got up and watched some anime after that 😀
that feeling of helplessness sucks. like i can feel my eyes move but my eyelids won't open. lol and it feels like forever just waiting for bodily control to come.
i've been thinking of getting some sleeping medication. anyone have any experience with that?
