Because the rape game issue more complex than killing since it's related to sexism and gender. It's not which one is wronger.

Those who are killed are digital too. But are they killed because they are a certain sex, race, or class? No. That's why it's a different issue and the messages assumed to be sent by the games are different. That's why they shouldn't be discussed together though both have good reasons to be banned.

Yeah, you can argue that it's racist and should be banned. Why not? If the voice is loud enough or the public is thought to react very negatively to it I am sure it will be banned too. BTW I was talking about killing in war games, not GTA, unless you count it as a war game.

I love playing GTA, killing people, taking their money, stealing cars, blowing shit up, etc. But I don't get high off it or aroused, and that's probably why rape games are different. It probably scares people, what kind of person would play a rape game. I don't know if a person would play a violent game because they want to kill people, or if a person would play a raping game because they want to rape people.

I never have and never will play a rape game. The process of just downloading or buying one would make me feel guilty as hell, and the idea of playing a rapist in a video game doesn't amuse me. But I don't mind shooter games. I don't have the urge to kill people, but it's fun anyway. They aren't real. I don't see the point behind a rape game being other than to arouse the player (this can go both ways, though). But who cares. It's not real life, and we should just accept it. People that complain should go stop real rapes from happening.

Reading the opening post will answer your question.

A lot of games focus on killing people, beating people, etc. One that gets brought up a lot is GTA.

So, why should any one care about a rape game? It's a game, non? I think banning form of entertainment because they contain controversial subjects is just silly. I'd play it if it was fun, I play GTA.
