Hi,

The newly founded group(founded by me) Meiji Scans is recruiting for every position.

Our current projects:

Tokyo Toy Box
Major

**more to come. Varies on how many staff members we have.

Positions:

  • Translators: Japanese-English, Korean-English, Chinese-English, Vietnamese-English(I badly need a Vietnamese translator). Even if you're a newbie with no experience at all apply as I will help you.
  • Cleaners: If you don't have much experience, join us either way. I will teach you so you can become the best.
  • Typesetters: Join us, even if you don't have much experience. I will teach you.
  • Proofreaders: As long as you have a very good knowledge of English, its all good.
  • Quality Checkers: If you've got good eyes when you're checking things and can spot mistakes, join us.
  • Raw Providers/Scanners: Please, I beg you. If you have raws(Japanese, Korean or Chinese) and can buy/scan do join us. Right now I am the only one able to do that. 😢
  • Graphics Designer

Site and stuff is coming up and is in works.

I hope all of you consider this. I would appreciate all the help I can get.

Reply to this post or PM me.

Could you please specific why do you need Vietnamese-English translator for? As far as I know, I don't think they have Tokyo Toy Box -or- Major in Vietnamese?

Right, my bad. Forgot to talk about that. There are a few series in my Vietnamese we'd like to do. One of the main ones would be Fantasista. I have all of the Vietnamese volumes for it. (I know where to find about 50+ other series in Vietnamese as well) So it's not decided that we'll end up doing Fantasista.

Well, I could do Viet-Eng for you guys as long as you provide enough editors and typesetters to do it. Contact me at phuquoc2001@gmail.com or leave me a message at my group website.

Godspeed.

I'd be happy to be a proofreader. I'm an English major and a natural grammar/spelling Nazi, after all. =]

Hello!

If you guys are still recruiting, I'm available to proofread as well as be a Viet-Eng translator. I have experience in proofing, but I haven't had a hand in translating yet. However, I'm fluent so I'm pretty sure I can figure it out.
