I'm only half way through the series[chapter 177] and I gotta say it's a good story, but I hate Casca with a passion.

Gats is cool, but Casca is a total witch. She says she likes Gats and even has her first time with him, but never again shows anything to him. She even picks Griffith over him. When Femto[Griffith] is "raping" her she keeps telling Gats not to watch, but she's enjoying it... You can tell by the look in on face and the passionate way she kisses him while in the middle of it. She just doesn't want to be watched by other people. The whole scene looked pretty concentual to me.

Seriously it was like the whole thing between Gats and Casca was simple replacement for the feelings she had for Griffith. It was like "oh your kinda cute and I can't have the man I really want so I guess you'll do". Now Griffith doesn't need anything to get what he wants so him and Casca have nothing stopping them... I believe Casca knows this even if she doesn't know anything else. She'll totally go to Griffith first chance she gets when she gets her memory back. She doesn't care at all for Gats.

Also when Femto was born into this world after the tower fell she recognized Griffith[compared to COMPLETELY forgetting Gats and everyone else]. She even tried to go to him. It really pisses me off that she's like that.

Gats is a stronger character than to chase after a girl like that. Just let her go and go about killing everything that gets in your way! That's what I would do.

Gats will NEVER have a chance with Casca ever... He NEVER really did. She has continuously chosen Griffith over Gats every single chance she got. She only seems to remember Griffith and as such she will never accept Gats. I can totally see Casca forsaking Gats and all her friends in order to go Griffith. In fact I'm really thinking that's how the story will reach it's climax... Griffith and Gats will fight when Casca decides to go to Griffith. Gats will kill Griffith and Casca will kill Gats for killing him. I can see that ending.

Or Casca will betray them in some way... But she will be the one to do it.

I have no hope for her EVEN AFTER she gets her memories back. In fact I foresee her being even more determined to go to Griffith.

Gats deserves so much better and is way to strong a character to be chasing a witch like her.
