Naked Ape's Switch Detective Manga Ends
The April issue of Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Zero Sum magazine went on sale with the final chapter of naked ape's Switch manga on Friday. The chapter includes a center color page, and the chapter's announcement includes the tagline "The pair will see the truth--!"
The detective manga resumed in the magazine in January 2013. Otoh Saki, one half of the manga writer/artist duo naked ape, said at that time that the main characters Hal and Kai aged a little, but Saki and her artist partner Tomomi Nakamura were truly bringing them back.
The gritty action manga focuses on two young government investigators of drug trafficking in Japan. Viz Media published the 12 volumes of the manga's original 2002-2008 run. The story inspired a two-episode video anime series in 2008 and 2009.
